New to Blogger from My Quilt Blog

Well, here I go, trying to recreate what I started on myquiltblog, which is closing down. I hope to reconnect and make new blogging friends. I will continue to try to journal my quilting and have decided to add sewing and crafting to this new blog. Bernie

  1. One of the nice things about a personal blog is that you can post anything you want to. I have a separate one that I use for business and industry stuff, but this one is for the quilting and hobby part of my brain. glad you got signed in, your site looks great for just starting. you can copy (control c) on your quiltblog and then paste (control v) to this site. I copied all my posts in three sets and saved them to draft. The photos did not transfer but I have the 'story' I may decided to post them later or not, I keep my quilt photos on the photo bucket site so I can link to them. enjoy cw

  2. Thanks Cheryl, this seems a bit easier - I always wanted to be able to make the lists I see others doing and this site made it easy. Bernie

  3. you are ahead of me, I havn't taken the time to learn to List, (that would limit excuses for not finishing items) when I started my blog, I spent more time reading and catching up with others. I enjoyed running from blog to blog and adding to my reading list. cw

  4. I just found your blog. Welcome! I think you'll find that blogger opens up your quilting world a bit more than MQB. I've done a lot of reading on doing things to my blog, so email me if you need help with anything. I did a list on my blog, and while I don't recall how I did that at the moment, I can look at my blog and help you figure it out if you want. Take care, Karen

  5. Bernie, Sandy here, thanks for the comment on my blog. I really love the Flynn Frame. I now have pipes up to king size, but, have not used those yet. The one I am working on is just a tab less than full. I hope you get the Flynn out and give it a try, I think you will like it too. Just remember, to pratice before doing the real thing.
Love your blog and I will visit more often. Again, thanks for checking my blog out.
